Restaurant Uhrmacher - Oberammergau

Dinner at Restaurant Uhrmacher with 60 plus co-workers. The staff was very friendly and met you at the door to take your drink order. Dinner was a huge buffet, many salads, side dishes, main courses from fish to beef to pork, and a desert bar....Very reasonably priced. This is a very nice restaurant for couples, groups and with friends.

We had one meal in the hotel restaurant. Usually I don't eat in the hotel restaurants but we did this one time. The food was good we had soup, salad and a main course. We had tomato soup, German salad and schnitzel. The service was...a little slow but nothing you can not live with. The price was about normal for the type of food we had.

I was a little apprehensive because some reviewers were pretty rough on the staff, but the majority were 4 or 5 stars so we gave it a try. I'm really glad I did because the venison stew was some of the best I've ever had...and my wife really enjoyed her salmon. The Apfelstrudel was superb as well. Our server, Maximilian, was perfect: attentive but not hovering, he went out of his way to answer our questions about the food and even brought out a bowl of water for our two dogs. Although a large group came in after us and the Stammtisch next to us filled up while we were there, we never were forgotten, and everything was served with a smile and polite demeanor. I will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Had a evening meal here and it was a meat feast BBQ and grill outside on the patio for a firework display. Food was lovely, the staff were very attentive and the chocolate pudding was so good I had two!

In diesem Restaurant bekommt man Essen mit hohem Niveau. Sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war mit großer und guter Auswahl bestückt.
