Chuck's Steak House - Myrtle Beach

On a Monday night, we experienced a wait, which is expected during the busy season. After sitting down, we waited around 40 minutes for our steaks. Unfortunately, the first steak we received was cold, and when we asked for it to be warmed up, it came back even colder than before. Additionally, the outside of the second steak was undercooked. When we requested the other steak to be cooked more, we were told that it couldn 't be done because they cook on an open flame. However, we expected the outside of the steak to be cooked more and crispier, especially considering this cooking method. Furthermore, my husband 's salad tasted like cleaning supplies, and the rolls on the salad bar were undercooked. When I asked for cheese on my baked potato, I was informed that I would need to get it from the salad bar. While I understand that this is not a fine steakhouse, I expected a better experience for a $40 steak. Due to these issues, we will not be returning, and I caution others who are looking for a decent steak.

We love Chuck’s, but it’s definitely hit or miss when it comes to service. We had an issue with my son’s steak at our last visit and they replaced it quickly and it was much better. The salad bar is on point. Overall, I’d recommend.

The salad bar and bread is delicious! Your steaks are golden corral quality at most. When we first started going to Chuck's, years ago, it was one of the best steak houses in Myrtle Beach. Since COVID it's really disappointed me. Prices went up and quality went down. We have visited several times in the last couple of years and probably will not return.

Wonderful service with Ty! Great Ribeyes cooked just right! We enjoyed our meals. Glad we tried this restaurant on our beach getaway weekend! Thank you!

45 min wait turned into 1.5hrs. Then it took over an hour to get our food. Steak was good. And the waitress was amazing! Only reason it got any stars. I kitchen staff needs help badly!
