Clarion Restaurang Artist - Oestersund

Loved this hotel and if I 'd ever go back to Östersund, I 'd stay again. Super friendly staff and amazing atmosphere, loved the sunflowers and flowers around were all fresh. The breakfast was divine and sooo many options, I especially loved the Swedish options like havregrynsgröt with lingonberry/Blueberry compote and FILMJÖLK!!. Only negative: two vodka soda lime(double) was 375 sek. I thought that was extraordinary expensive, but might just be out of the loop. Also they weren 't that good, I had to pour my own Fanta in them cos it was unbalanced (had a can in my room). The bartender asked when I came down was the drinks good and I didn 't want to hurt his feelings so I just said yeahhh ... so I guess this is my fault and it doesn 't change my 5 star rating.

I frequently travel to Östersund, and this hotel has become my number one spot to stay in. The staff is always very welcoming and the rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast never disappoints. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly good amenities and located right in the middle of town. Hotel rooms don't have individual thermostats, but the setting by the hotel is comfortable enough.

Super conveinent location to hang around the city and the lake. We had well organized breakfast and we enjoyed sauna and swimming pool everyday during 3 nights stay. Reception was very kind I liked his mustache in particular and quick. Parking lot is very convenient so that we can lift down to the level where you parked outdoor. The water in swimming pool was little bit cool but does not matter thanks to sauna. I recommend this hotel if you have school kids e.g. older than 6 year olds.
