Ricky's Chicken Rice @north Adelaide

I have tried a lot of chicken rice places in Adelaide but this place beats them all! I love the green sauce and everything is perfect! We come nearly every Friday for dinner! The laksa is also the best we have tried in Adelaide, it has a very strong flavor while some other places can be very watery. The staff are super friendly as well!

Nice (obviously popular local Asian eatery full restaurant with a line up) chinese eatery specialising in Hainan chicken rice. We ordered the double serve of chicken and rice, char kway teow and fried rice. The chicken portion is generous and all dishes were tasty. The chicken rice is not exactly authentic but they do have their own unique flavour (have to say it was nice). The sauces was also interesting but probably can be a bit more spicy for Asian taste. The standout for me was actually the hot coffee milk tea (very aromatic). It is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Had a nice experience with this business. Ordered through DoorDash so often you expect the quality of delivery to not be as good (from transit etc but enjoyed really really good chicken rice. They were sold out of the breast and suggested the boneless thigh instead and it was a pleasant surprise! So flavourful and delicious. Sauces and condiments so addictive! Also service was lovely, phoned about them having run out of chicken breast and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even left a thoughtful apology note with my order. I’m obsessed with chicken rice in general and this is my New favourite chicken rice in Adelaide. Thanks guys! Will recommend to others :

Great service from one of the male waiters there on a Sunday very helpful n pleasant

Dropped by for lunch on Sunday. The shop was full and we waited for about 10minutes before getting a seat. The food was definitely nice and pricing was not too bad. However, not worthy of the 5 stars as food wasn’t mind blowing good the shop was pretty cramped with seating.
