The staffs here are always friendly and welcoming. Coming here is always like visiting a old friend's home for home-made Korean food. Whether you're new to Korean food, or a long-time fan, you will leave this place happy and satisfied!
A varied menu that offers foods for vegetarians and meat lovers alike with options for spicy or not for all sorts. The Teokbokki/Dukbokki was delicious and fresh and made for an excellent appetizer while also opening your sinuses to really drink 8m the scents of the food. The kimchi wasn't overly spicy due to being made each week but it still provided the strong flavor behind the spice. The marinade on the galbi was less sweet than other restaurants but served to enhance the savoriness and meatiness of the dish instead which made it that much more satisfying. The spicy beef bulgogi was tender and sliced thin with a healthy amount of spice while not overwhelming the meat and other marinade. The rice was exceptional sticky white rice that made for a great supplement and base for the rest of the meal. The rest of the sides consisted of bean sprouts, potatoes, fish cakes, spicy pineapple, and possibly a cucumber kimchi. The staff was kind and helpful, very willing to answer questions you might have about the food. The space is a bit small so at certain rush hours it might get busy, but otherwise a great space and great food.
The food was delicious! Authentic Korean home cooking with a friendly staff. The place is a bit small so if you have a large group try to get there before the rush, but definitely worth checking out.
I'm kind of a stickler when it comes to good food, but this place deserves every star they got. Because of the olympics I really got in the mood for some Korean food and not was I glad I went here! Absolutely one of the best service experiences I've had and the food is very authentic as well. I visited my father in South Korea in high school and the food taste the same, if not better, as in-country and this was a to-go order during our ice storms a few weeks ago. I cannot image how good it is fresh in the restaurant during a normal week. They also gave me free extra sides just for driving in during the weather. I highly recommend the Yaki Mandu (fried dumplings) if you're looking for an appetizer. It was so flavorful even reheated in the oven two days later. Also had the bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef) and Dakgalbi (spicy stir fried chicken). Wife also enjoyed the spring rolls. Will definitely be making this place a regular and looking forward to going back.
Found this place with google maps, great atmosphere, super nice people working and huge portions. I got the boulgogi for 2 to share with my daughter and it's big enough for 4. My wife got the japche and loves it. Too damn bad we dont live here. Great small menu with real specials. Please support this small business, stop in and try it and spread the word.
