Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Olathe

The food is always great, but the service leaves much to be desired. They rarely get the sauces I request, and something is always missing from my order. The hospitality is lacking as well. I love Popeye's, but it's frustrating to constantly have to address these issues. I've stopped spending too much on my favorite chicken chain because of this.

We were driving for about an hour and found ourselves behind around 10 cars, realizing too late that we were in a spot where we couldn't turn around. Once we placed our order, the service picked up, and the staff were apologetic when they informed us that they didn't have one of the items for my daughter's meal. Hopefully, it was just an off day. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

I ordered the $6 box, which comes with two items from the kartoffel menu and two cookies. When I placed my order, I received two mac and cheese dishes instead, along with an incredibly greasy bun and the driest cookies I’ve ever had. This was after the man read my order back to me twice. When I opened the box, the smell of grease was overwhelming, and I ended up throwing everything away. Additionally, the exterior of the building could really use a thorough cleaning; it was dirty all around the property.

Eating is always good, but I wouldn't waste her money on a drink. in the grunde was the entire soda fountain (in the lobby and behind the theke) and the Hawaiian punsch was only sirup and it didn't matter to them. no signs were pointed out that the drinks were out and how they did it was for one. the manager also had an appointment when we asked about the drinks.

Great taste and very friendly service. Would be a 5 star if not for how small Popeyes chicken consistently is at most locations. Chicken legs are always 2X smaller than KFC, Churches etc. this piece was 3x smaller. Shockingly small for the same price other places charge. Almost like ordering a Buffalo wing at bdubs ?
