Empanada Guy - Old Bridge

These empanadas are fantastic and make for perfect snacks while driving. The chicken ones are well-seasoned and I highly recommend them. The beef was a bit too rich for my liking, but I'd still eat it anyway. I didn't enjoy the ham and cheese empanada either, as it was too salty for my taste. If you're interested in trying their unique or exotic empanadas, be sure to call ahead because they're never available for walk-in orders. I'll definitely return time and again whenever I'm driving the truck!

Overall, it's usually quite good. When they're fresh, the empanadas are delicious. However, I just received one that had been microwaved at 11:35. Seriously?! Additionally, their opening times can be inconsistent. I arrived at 11:30 and they hadn't opened yet (example #2).

I've always noticed the signs for The Empanada Guy, but this was my first time trying their empanadas. I ordered the chicken and chorizo empanadas along with a stuffed potato ball (rellenos de papa), while my girlfriend chose the chicken, beef, and chorizo empanadas. They were absolutely fantastic, and we can’t wait to go back for more!

For the first time came a man to give me your best plate. He recommended the Crab Empanada. Absolutely delicious! It'll be safe to return.

This is my go to comfort food. The cheese and guava empanadas are wonderful, haven't had anything I didn't like!
