Hostal L'arquet - Olocau

Such a great place to eat and the odd tipple,we were served great food and drink the staff are very friendly cant do enough for you.This was our 10th trip over to Olocau please give it a try.

We visited the restaurant for lunch (it is in olocau, not olocau del rey) and when we were served, we were really impressed with the standard of cooking. They had a gazpacho starter which came with a savoury ice cream, bunuelos de bacalao (salt cod donuts) and a delicious crema de valencia (flavoured with orange) as dessert. Including the usual drink and bread, the cost was 8euro, plus a 1 euro for a coffee. The service was great friendly and quick, although no English was spoken, then explained slowly in Spanish the menu and anything we didn't know was explained to us. We expected a simple Menu del Dia and were really really impressed particularly for the cost of the meal. Highly recommended. We returned several times.

Although they open at 7pm food only available from 8.30pm onwards. We will know for next time. Local bar with friendly customers and staff. Very helpful with the menu. The food is excellent!

Fuimos después de hacer senderismo y Mos atendieron muy rápido. Calor reservar y son muy atentos, lo único es que el servicio de terraza termina a las 14. Debes pedirlo todo antes
