Jones Bros Cupcakes - Omaha

Wow! I can't believe I've never written for Jones Bros, I've been coming to this location since 2013 when I lived in Pinhook Flats! Well, after a long hot day at Maha we walked by Jones Bro's who had a team of awesome staff serving up burgers. My husband went with the burger meal after chatting with one of the gentleman flippin burgers. He was so personable and nice. We wanted cold mayo, not some baking in the sun, and he ran in to get it for us, and we ended up eating in there. The space was big and clean despite so much foot traffic from the festival. The burger was fantastic. They had all the fixin's to load it up and it was tasty. The meal came with their house chips which were super crispy, and then of course the dessert was a mini decdadent cupcake. A perfect meal! I've ordered cupcakes and macaroons here before too. They have one of my favorite vanilla bean macs here.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. They had Jones Bros do the cupcakes for their wedding. I loved the ambiance of the place and it has SOOOO many choices. I had a hard to picking out a birthday snack or two. I eventually settled on a slice of the Rainbow Pride cake and a salted caramel brownie. Both were beautifully decorated. They were moist and a relatively good portion for the price. However, I was disappointed in the taste for both. : The rainbow cake had a ton of almond flavor. It was too much for me. I like almond but I wish this cake was toned down a bit. The brownie had a flavor that I just didn't love either. I thought it was the icing but I'm pretty sure it was in the brownie base. Despite all that, I think I'd still come back to Jones Bros to try some of the other items to find something I love.

I see so many mixed reviews here and it's funny to me. Never had a bad cupcake from here. Plus they have very creamy ice cream. Took my boys tonight for a treat. Chocolate ice cream was delicious!!! They Oreo cupcake and chocolate cupcake were both moist and flavorful. My boys loved them!

Just a comment on keeping up with website posted times. We got out of a movie and wanted a treat. Since it was close to 9pm, our choices were limited but the website and the maps info both said the establishment closed at 10pm. We arrived at 9:14 to see employees inside but doors locked. The times posted agreed with the times we had seen but a note on a secondary door informed about new hours. Bummer!!! I wish we knew about the new closing times since we drove a piece to find them and now we KNEW there were no treats to be had due to the late hour. Please update your operating time on websites and social media so people don't get excited for yummy treats and waste time and fuel.

Came here to get coffee, totally opposite of what I ordered, then my other order was mocha, the guy said no mocha latte is the same and still served it to me. I ordered one hot coffee I got cold latte and another cold latte instead of mocha. Truly disappointing after driving to try this place.
