Le Peep Omaha Legacy

The restaurant was not busy we got seated right away. Our server did not show up til 10 minutes later. No greetings no hello just ask what we would like to order. The most unfriendly wait staff i have ever met. Peasant potatoes that came with one of our meal was all burnt brown it was left over potatoes from yesterday. My meal was cold.

Well the food was good and came quickly. The waitress was nice, but after checking that the food was okay she was not to be seen until the bill came for our group. No dishes were cleared until after we left. Since we had over six people (but paying separately we were charged the 'group gratuity of 20% on our checks as posted on the door when we entered. But wait, upon further inspection we determined that we were also assessed gratuity on the tax. Then we were told the senior discount that we advised of ahead of time could not be taken until we took our bills to the cashier. When we asked about tipping on the tax the manager came over and said it was the computer 's fault and there was nothing she could do. She would let the owner know the computer wasn 't working right. So I get to the cashier and point out my 20% is actually 22%. Nothing. Then after the 10% senior discount the gratuity now amounts to 24.5%. Too bad. It is mandatory. No way to adjust it, even if inaccurate. They offered a punch card with 2 punches instead of one. The way the punch card works is you get a punch for every $10 spent. But wait. That is only on food before tax and gratuity. So $10 of food gets one punch and so does $19 of food. Even if your bill is over $20. One lady at our table ordered eggs, sausage and toast ala carte as side dishes because it was $4 less that way. Yet they charged her for the higher priced meal and the waitress acted like it was killing her to adjust it. She had to be asked twice. She justified the additional charge because she wanted it to come out on one plate and otherwise she would have to bring multiple plates. Really? You couldn 't get tell the cook to put it on one plate? (or even do so yourself? No, he wouldn 't be able to do that. So, in summary, good food but don 't expect any actually thinking or common sense by the staff. They can only do what the computer tells them to do.

Great breakfast place although a little spendy. Emma was our server and was very good. Not sure why they seated us where they did but possibly to balance server load. Breakfast good but hash browns cold. Little spendy we thought

Delicious food, very friendly and efficient staff! Super clean and cheery atmosphere! The food was fresh and hot!

Wife and I decided to try since we had gotten good feedback from friends. Large venue with outside seating under cover out front. Staff a wore masks and we were seated inside with plenty of distancing. Maya was our server and she was amazing. Great service and follow up and with a wonderful upbeat personality. Wife had pancakes with bacon and eggs and I had chicken fried steak with eggs,potatoes and toast covered with gravy of course.
