Le Voltaire French - Omaha

Best French cuisine in Omaha, really the best food in Omaha. I fight to go somewhere else, because it always falls short of the excellent food, the service and the value I can get here. You can go for a big meal, or sometimes my son and I fall into the bar and eat French onion soup.

This was our first visit here and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was very attentive and the appetizers and main dishes were excellent. Extensive beverage and wine list with a menu that should satisfy most taste.

For a luxurious culinary experience, this is the place. Plan to make this your outing because if you do it right, you have 3 hours of gastrointestinal and pampering. Chef is professionally trained in French cuisine and it shows. The wine selection is enormous. Even the ratatouille is amazing. Get a reservation through Open Table.

This French restaurant is not French. There were 5 in our party, order all different items from the menu. It's not French food. The next thing I had to be French was the Crème brûlée. It was quite tasteless. The ducks were something you could get at a Bob or Denny. The service was okay. I think the server was probably new to her job. The owner welcomed us what was nice of him and gave us promotional coupons for 10% from a future visit. There will be no future visit.

This was the most enjoyable evening with 9 of my friends. Angie was wonderful and very informative. The food was exquisite. Can't wait to try another extraordinaire dish.
