Lighthouse Pizza - Omaha

In town for work...staying at the Marriott around the corner. This place was interesting...got 2 slices and fries way too much food!

This slice of pizza was so large. I absolutely loved the flavor and the thin crust!

My favorite pizza aside from a true NYC slice! Lighthouse pizza, the Sparky specifically, is perfectly cheesy, crispy, and delicious. It's on the thinner side which is what I prefer. You can order a slice (which is HUGE) or a whole pizza. Although they make it seem like you can stop in for a quick slice, it's made to order and really isn't quick. Expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes. There isn't really any seating at this location either. I prefer to call in for carryout and never have any issues with that.

I was the only one there but it took 25mins to get a slice of pizza and some brisket blue cheese fries. Only reason why I’m not giving a one star is because the nice girl was apologetic over the wait. The real problem was the fries were so salty it was inedible! Salty salty salty was all I could taste and MOSTLY crust for my long waited 8$ slice of pizza.

Stayed at the nearby Hilton on a business trip. This was an easy spot to walk to and grab a quick bite. Slices are HUGE. I got 2 slices, and ended up with 2 meals because of it. Thai chicken pizza was really good, as was the Sparky cream cheese sounded strange on a pizza, but it worked a lot like ricotta, which is delightful.
