It had a thick layer of grease floating on top of the broth, and was almost flavorless. I'm sorry to say it was just a watered down version of what Vietnamese food should be, what a poor representation.
I love stopping in here for a quick after workout meal. Their shrimp fried rice is fresh and fragrant. Very weird location inside but it adds character.
Will you be getting a carwash today?. Well, it's not quite that awkward, but the location can be a bit offsetting. First of all, the food is excellent: we tried a pho, omelet, spring rolls, and egg rolls. I think this pho is about as good as it gets in Omaha, the spring rolls were very nice, and the omelet was good and fluffy with plenty of cheese and meat. The egg rolls, well, I wanted a bit more pork in them, but that's a personal preference. The interior decor is spartan, to be polite. The location in a bay of a gas station is very plain jane. However, in the final analysis, there is no other place in Omaha to get good Vietnamese cuisine at 9:00am, and that, my friends, is good enough for me to say I will be back.
Are you kidding me?!? I never thought I'd try "gas station phó", but I am so glad I did! I was on my way from Omaha to Lincoln & stopped for fuel & saw
I absolutely love this place! Unfortunately I tried to go in today for lunch and the sign said that the family had moved and that the place is closed for
