Panera Bread - Omaha

We visited the restaurant on the night of November 5th, and the place looked like it had been wrecked. There was trash everywhere, soda spilled all over the counter, and staff just hanging around. They informed us that they wouldn't take our order and that we had to use the kiosk instead. There were no plastic utensils available for our food, and when we asked for some, they provided just one spoon for the three of us. The drink station was disgusting, and no tables had been wiped down. When we finally received our food, the soup was cold. The overall cleanliness and integrity of the place were questionable. We noticed dead insects on the windowsills, which made for the worst experience I've had in a long time. I usually don’t complain and try to be understanding, but this was inexcusable, especially considering the staff appeared more interested in chatting with friends in the parking lot than serving customers. It was evident that the excitement of working there had long faded.

Every time I visit this Panera, they seem to mess up my order. I order a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs and bacon, but the egg is often cooked over easy instead. The next time, the egg is just a mess. I've also had missing items from my delivery order, even though I pay higher prices on the menu. Each sandwich is supposed to come with chips or a baguette, but I've received just a sandwich in a bag without any of the sides, despite the front of the bag indicating there should be chips. Out of five small items, not one was correct.

The portions are incredibly small. I spent $20 on a salad, soup, and smoothie. I anticipated a higher price, but the Caesar salad was only a half-filled bowl with just three croutons. The soup was good, but also quite small. I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, even though I was only the third person in line to order. During my wait, I was bothered by bugs, presumably coming from the plants outside. The service at the counter was attentive, and the staff at the loudspeaker were very helpful.

I always ordered the madagaskar vanille latte and it was always good, but today I got the worst ever. my drink came without taste of coffee or vanilla taste, I took the first swallow and I thought I was wrong, but after the 3rd swallow, I felt like I was drinking hot pure milk. I brought my drink back into the load and asked if I could have made my drink new, the dame was very nice and friendly, after a few minutes waiting I got it done, but then I figured out that it was the same cup (because my lipstick spot is still on the lid,) she never again the drink for me, they only warmed it up and added some milk foam to it. it still tastes like milk. Apparently this is my last time in panera bread!

This Panera location was very busy but still had a good variety of bagels left. They even refreshed all the coffees in the lobby really quickly. The food was really tasty especially the 4 cheese souffle. It was right at 11 so the switch over from breakfast to lunch and everything was still prepared quickly.
