Finally they love the server and the manager! they are super friendly and very friendly! total experience was excellent and highly recommended!
Absolutely loved! I had never had Korean food and I was in the sky! (this is also a good option for low carber! I love the atmosphere. the dinning room and bathroom facilities are clean and have updated frames. our server, kesha, was extremely attentive, nice and very helpful and did not make us feel ignorant. we even had a pleasant conversation with the couple on the table next to us. I will make the 320 miles trip again, just to eat here!
High-high Korean food. it is fantastic to see great omaha have Korean bbq. nice bibimbap too. good menu and prices reflect the quality.
#restaurantreview We ended up going to Suji's Korean Grill thanks to a Groupon offer we found. The normal cost for this meal is $35 per person, for a total of $70. The groupon was for $55. There were limitations however. It said no flank steak and no pork jowel. However, they said we got flank steak... I believe we didn't get the brisket in the end. Please note, we paid $44 because we used an additional discount with groupon as well as Ebates for I can't remember how much (usually between 4-8) Anyhow, cost matters. What you get matters. So We have those 4 meats, plus you get sauces, lettuce and pickled ginger (We didn't touch it because I don't like to eat ginger by itself, but we were pretty sure it was), and a tray of sides common to Korean restaurants. In this case it was salted cucumber, kimchi, and bean sprouts marinated in something. There were 3 sauces. One soy vinegar, a soy paste (which David seemed to like, but I wasn't overly fond of. It was ok, but not something I used) and salt. The Korean grill is a heated stone slab. The meats given were, ribeye (marinated as in bulgogi), flank steak, pork belly, and chicken. Remember, for that extra money, you can get the pork jowels and the beef flank that we didn't get. So with that you're off to eat to your hearts content. Service was a mix. The servers themselves were very friendly. The restaurant was 3/4 full. Server missed the rice. We had to ask for it. Did not receive it until most of our food was already cooked (we had eaten all of 3 meats and was left with 1/4 left of the plate on the top right). They did not refill the sides in the beginning for a long time. It could be they were too busy to come by. It wasn't like they were hanging around chatting with one another, but I just didn't really see them. The service was better later in the meal, however at that point we didn't really need anything but were asked many times if we wanted more. We only got 1 refill of the ribeye. That pretty much tasted the best. Comparison to Igi BBQ? The beef quality was better. Generally the meat was probably slightly higher, but not wise compared to the price hike. Igi is 28.95 CDN (About $20.25 USD) Mon-Thurs, but you also get all you can eat Japanese food, so the amount of variety is a lot more. The quality and the environment was better here though. The servers of a higher class. I definitely would go try it at the $22 per person price USD. Its a fun thing to do. For $35 per person I'd have more reservations. Oh... the Mochi and ice cream (3 small scoops with mochi on top) came to $6. I don't recommend getting the mochi. I've had better just bought from the store... It was a bit doughy and dry. Not as thin as I would have liked. I also have to say Blufish's Japanese ice cream is really good. I go around and I find it hard to beat. Its one of the better versions that's out there. This one was ok. The mochi's green tea was different. More perfumed.
Very good food. We enjoyed the all you can eat. Sadly the grills were not working and the cooks had to prepare our meats.
