V. Mertz - Omaha

W. mertz has been one of my favorite restaurants for six years. I love their menu; even though it changes, there's always a delightful surprise! The food is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is also very romantic, making it perfect for a date night. David is our regular waiter, and he is fantastic! He is always attentive and even remembers the dishes we ordered last time! He goes above and beyond, making our experience at w. mertz truly memorable!

I had a wonderful dining experience at this fantastic restaurant. We started off by sharing the cheese plate as an appetizer, which was quite generous for two, especially with the bread service (though I find it a bit odd to pay extra for bread). My pork chop was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauces and garnishes were spot on. For dessert, we enjoyed a beautiful torte paired with freshly brewed decaf coffee. Overall, it was an excellent meal!

Simply said, amazing. we went to our jubilee and on the printed menu put them happy anniversary. such a simple supplement that made a great influence. we enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing. I highly recommend that. each product was nicely plated and even better costed. we're coming back!

Have been recommended V Mertz several times and told it 's an incredible dining experience. Went out the either night for my anniversary, and while it was very good I wouldn 't necessarily say I was blown away like I was expecting. Service and atmosphere were great, creme brulee and food presentation were too notch as well. I ordered the lamb dish, and honestly it just seemed like a strange combination of foods. Almost had a cajun long John silver 's vibe with grits and the 'hush puppy ' style fried breading; probably not something I 'd order again. My girlfriend had the Chicken Roulade, which was cooked perfectly and the table behind us had a giant ribeye that looked and smelled incredible, I found myself wishing I 'd ordered that instead.

VMertz always delivers an amazing evening of phenomenal food paired with amazing wine! Matt always knows exactly what to pour and his knowledge of wine is beyond impressive! Service is always amazing and the atmosphere is intimate and sophisticated! Perfect for a romantic date night or small party of conversation An Omaha staple that keeps getting better with time!!
