Organic Food restaurant - Orachha

We climbed up the hill in search of a restaurant and stumbled upon a delightful, hospitable couple who prepared us a delicious, homemade meal. It was some of the best food we had tasted during our two months in India. We ordered thali, which was made with all organic ingredients, and the owner, Bhoopendra, even told us where they were grown. The following day, we returned so my girlfriend could try on sarees with Bhoopendra's wife and we also took some photos at a nearby temple. This entire experience was definitely one of our favorites from our entire trip. Thank you very much.

I arrived late in Orchha and decided to have a quick dinner at an organic food restaurant that I had found on Google Maps. The roads were dark and hard to navigate, but friendly locals helped me find the restaurant. Despite the late hour and the restaurant being closed, I received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious dinner that was quickly prepared with fresh ingredients. The organic Indian dishes were excellent and satisfied my hunger. The couple who served me were incredibly friendly and I could tell they were making a positive impact in their community. Not only were they talented chefs, but they also provided free coaching in organic farming and taught meditation at the local school. When I return to India, I will definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant again.
