Saddle Ranch Chop House - Costa Mesa

It was my daughter 22nd birthday, a reservation made no difference, we sat the worst in the situation, music away too loud! this place used to have country music, it was 80’s music and it was terrible! 30 minutes to get chips and guacamole! After complaining to the waitress, he came out and said I'm sorry, the presentation was terrible, the bowl was 1/2 full of guacamole, chips not even covered the plate. the mgr was really not outrageous and just sadly said that I didn't believe him. eating was terrible and we knew that would not be better! for a birthday party it was terrible, I will never go back and in the customer service and food industry for over 35 years I will never recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Unfortunately, my group of friends and I did not enjoy our experience in sadddle ranch costa mesa. for how much personal and how not crowded the restaurant was, we received very bad service. we waited for an hour to eat and were not visited very often because it was brunch on Sunday. we sat on the terrace and understood, there were two big parties on the terrace, but the manager had only one server that helped the two parties and us with each table with more than 15 people (we had 5,) while inside was empty. we talked to the manager and tried to understand very much, but the manager did not seem interested in any of our concerns. he offered to send desserts to make for cold eating, we waited an hour and 20 minutes for (we were a party of 5.) the waiter, michael tried his best to help us, but seemed to have no support. we have even asked that the manager comes with the bill because even the promised desserts have never made it out and after our waiter the manager had no time to talk to us again. we appreciate the efforts of the waiter, but still see very disappointed and will not return to this place.

There were four in our party and our food was brought to a time. who wants to eat alone when you're a party of four? we ordered sweet potatoes and regular pommes. they were cold, nothing worse than cold greedy. do not go back

We had a reservation for 13 after 10 min we finally got a drink order, then no one came back to our table for an hour. Empty beer bottles and empty water glasses sat at our table for the entire 2 1/2 hours it took for us to get our food. The food was cold and the service and even the manager just didn't seem to care. What a shame. Hamburgers were like leather and the beef dip had about 3 pieces of meat that was like beef jerky. They were out of 4 of their side orders you choose from for your meal. They weren't even busy such a shame because the bull ridding was fun. They need to clean house and hire people who care about their customers.

The service was terrible. I had reservations at 11:15am, which I arrived on time for. They told me 10 minutes and didn’t seat us for a half hour after talking to the hostess twice. It took a half hour for them to bring us water. We had to go to the bar to get refills on water and drinks because our waitress was nowhere to be found. It took an hour for her to take our order. Then after talking to the manager twice, turns out they forgot our order. The manager never came to our table to make sure everything was fine. They sent shots of alcohol to our table that we did not want, charged us and then took it off the bill as our “compensation”. Really disappointed, I have been here before with no issues but I will not go back.
