Black Rooster Taqueria - Orlando

My experience at Black Rooster Taqueria's new location on Curry Ford Road in Orlando was absolutely outstanding! If you've visited their original spot on Mills Ave, you already understand that this place is top-notch. Chef John Calloway and his talented team have crafted delicious flavors and textures in every dish. The Latin cuisine is truly authentic with fresh ingredients that make you forget about processed foods. The menu is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is delightful. Plus, this new location is three times bigger than the original, with a spacious outdoor area for relaxation. I sampled their upcoming brunch menu and was blown away by the drinks and food - a definite must-try for weekend brunches! Kudos to Black Rooster and their wonderful owners and management team.

This amazing taco restaurant is definitely one of the top 5 in the Orlando area. The ingredients are very fresh and the food was served quickly. Two tacos were filling, but I could have easily eaten four. If you enjoy black beans, be sure to order a side of them when you visit. The black beans here are very unique. My favorite taco was definitely the carne asada. This restaurant deserves 5 stars and I will definitely be returning soon!

The pozole was delicious, made with green tomatillos, chicken broth, corn, cilantro, and a generous portion of Lechon in the middle with corn chips. The carne asada tacos were served with in-house corn tortillas, marinated in adobo sauce, and topped with fresh cilantro. Each dish came with a slice of lime for added freshness. The overall experience was clean, with the kitchen visible from any seat in the dining area. The prices were very affordable, and the staff were accommodating and treated us as if we were long-time community members. They offered a variety of craft beers, local beers, wines, soft drinks, and juices. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the blossoming independent restaurant scene in Orlando, Florida. The five handmade tacos were tasty, and the posole was a generous and delicious portion served with fresh chips and house-made guacamole. Including two soft drinks and a water, the total bill came to $50.00, which was well worth it for the freshly made dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. The music also added to the overall experience, making it a must for good conversation and an enjoyable dining experience.

Flavor! Ceviche and BR Nachos are over the top. We needed this spot for quality, clever delicious dining out option. Super tidy, super friendly, super nice outside dining too. Love the whole vibe and the folks who make it happen.
