I frequently visit Buster Rhino to stock up on their delicious sauce, even when I'm pressed for time and can't stay to eat. Their hot BBQ and Georgia Mustard sauces are among my favorites to use at home when I barbecue. Their ribs, pulled pork, and chicken are all quite tasty, but it's their sauce that really stands out.
I group of friends (8) and I came to grab some drinks and food outside on the patio. The business was not busy. We ordered everything at once to save time. 30 minutes has gone by and we have been patient. I got up to see what is happening. I saw two waitress chit-chat behind the bar. I asked if those were our drinks. The waitress said yes. How complicated can it be to pour beer into a glass. Is there a course you have to take? Our food arrived a half hour later. Everyone received their food except me. How come? Is it hard to make Chicken Fingers & Onion Rings?Next I told the waitress to cancel my order because I lost my appetite and disappointed with the service. I also asked how their food. They said it was okay. Reaction of "I can do it better at home." Burnt! Dry! They just don't care whatsoever. DISAPPOINTMENT!In conclusion, I will never recommend to eat there. I lost so must respect to this place. Do they want to make the customers satisfied when walking out? I guess not. Too busy goofing around and playing with their cell phones.P.S. If you do decided to eat there, make sure you have a lot of free time and your health card with you.
The only thing good was the beer! Service was poor and the food order took at least 30min and I ordered a salad! It was not busy and I personally will never come here again????
We had visited this restaurant a couple of times before and decided to try it again. We were not disappointed. I had the Brisket sandwich and my wife had the Mac & Cheese (made on site) on Brisket. Both meals were excellent. We met the owner, Daryl, this time and learned that the carry specialty beers, some of which are no longer being made. They also have aged beer. I was unaware that beer could be aged. He also described the entertainment they have. We were there on a Saturday when they were having a local band in. We dropped in after the show we were at to hear them and had a good time The entertainment is geared to the 30-40+ crowd. We will definitely go back when we are in Oshawa.
