Pure Kitchen - Ottawa

We had a really nice terrace. the service was very friendly and happy. we had burgers who were excellent and some glasses wein.

We stopped in here for lunch and found the menu to be expensive. The food was fine but not great. A plate of fried cauliflower in hot sauce was close to $20. The profit margin on that dish must have been 500%. The smoothie's were...good but also around $11 each. That's quite a lot to pay. Service was friendly. The location was a bit out of the way and not near the downtown core. With other restaurants in the area and in other areas of Ottawa, I do not plan to eat here again.

I ordered the Warrior, a hot bowl, for a late lunch but it was cold. The cook didn 't take the time to cut the cucumbers through. Sloppy. Busy time? Other times have been great, but not this time which was unfortunate because I was looking...forward to a treat.

We ordered the vegan poutine with cashew cheese and it was super! very recommended! we also ordered fresh fruit and vegetables drinks that were delicious.

We were six for dinner...vegans, vegetarians and only normal eaters all for a nice evening. our waiter, although charming, knew nothing about eating, so no help there. we went and ordered . Apps.cauliflower and poutine .were just good. the wine. choice, no hum. now on “main” wowzers .we did not know that she could ruin reisnudels like the cook. “Mush” was what a diner told the waiter. who had disappeared and returned to ask if she wanted something else. the second rice noodle dinner said nothing but an untouched bowl. the burger was dry .half ate. sad really sad.
