As being a tourist in India i was searching for some great Indian delicacies ,,,,, for which India is famous for the all time great Indian curries ...so i was just roaming around in north of India and my friends told me about Punjab that those peoples have great heart and they serve great food anywhere i can go so i was in the Royal city Patiala and i was roaming around in a local market i found a great smell coming out from this local Restaurant so i went there and ask this young guy what he is cooking in his kitchen .First of all he welcome me with great smile on his face and offer me to sit down in his place which was shaped as a hut ...its raining lil bit and weather was pleasant so he offered me water and explain me that he is cooking the famous Chicken Curry so i have to see how it looks like cause i was also concerned about the hygiene so he offered to have a look at it i went to his kitchen with him which was neat and clean he was in the process of making it and he told me that you can wait and have a taste of that curry the smell of the spices was so good i cant say no to that so i waited for 15 minutes and then he served me chicken curry with Rice and Chapati (Indian Bread) with some salad on top of that which was complimentary i was hungry so i ate 2 bowls of chicken curry with rice and Chapati and i was thinking that this delicious thing might cost me lot cause i haven't taste any thing good like this but when i pay him it just cost me 280 Indian rupees that's just US 4.30 and after that when i was leaving he offer me some sweet thing made from sugarcane called Jaggery i tried lots of dishes in India but that humble nature of the owner and of course taste i will never forgot ...He is the owner and the Head Chef of that place his name which he told me is Manu ........He was a great young man thanks for treating me so well and i ll recommend my family and friends who visit India and visiting to North India must visit his Woods Vile Restaurant
This is by far the best place to eat, fully packed with a delicious menu and much more to offer. The combination of homely food and continental cuisine this has to be the best place to come and eat.
Popular among college crowd as food rates are vey reasonable and quality for that price of food is just too good. Very hygienic place to have food. Also both veg and non veg options are available here.
