The soup tasted like dishwater, and the staff were quite unpleasant. The food is overpriced and of low quality. The service was disrespectful when I refused to pay for a meal that I didn’t eat or enjoy. I wouldn’t recommend going there!
After coming here for years this will be my last visit. First the clear soups tasted like warm water and we told our server and he removed them from the bill. Then we had ordered agedashi tofu and it looked pale but my friend gave it a try. It also tasted like nothing except flour and we let the server know. From our table he yelled for who seemed to be the manager and she started yelling in their language. She then proceeded to walk to our table and yell at us and smacked our table like we were in trouble. She started arguing with us and just to make her go away we told her it was fine but we would not be eating it and she took it away. When we got our bill it was still on there and when I said something about paying for something we didn?t eat our server yelled across the restaurant again and the manager yelled back that she would remove it. Not only was it frustrating but it was embarrassing.
Nothing fancy about this mediocre sushi.is So bad!! They squeezed 2 sushi rolls in to this tiny box very stingy for a big price. I honestly could not taste or find the tuna.
1st time in and there will be more. Again I am not a fish gal especially raw. But, there is hibachi grill and tempura and a few other things that I can eat. The tempura was awesome, the noodles were out of this world, The place is so clean. You saw the ladies disinfecting after each customer. Most main dishes come with soup and salad. Cannot wait to go back.
I had a $75 order, and half of it was wrong, so I ultimately opted to get my money back. Debating the issue didn’t seem worth it, especially since a large man approached the counter while I was talking to the cashier, which felt intimidating. I remained calm because I had previously dined there without any issues, and I just wanted to give them a chance to rectify the mistake. Frankly, Kawa Sushi is a better option. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I’m new to the area and have been going to this sushi spot because I’ve never been disappointed—until now. I want to try other places but keep finding myself back at Fancy Sushi. The only downside is that it can get a bit pricey, which is why I originally gave it a 4-star rating instead of 5. The takeout menu hasn’t been updated, and they don’t provide it voluntarily; when I asked for one, they told me the prices were outdated. Just be cautious about which rolls you order, as I can never seem to spend less than $50 for myself and my mom, and I’ve even hit $50 just for myself.
