A great restaurant- charming and warm atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty. A small quaint restaurant with a great history located in the Saint Germaine area. The management was friendly and passionate about the preparation of the food served. We will go back again...and bring others to experience this one of a kind establishment.
If stay in the St Germain district, this small, Italian spot is a must. The owner is a lovely French lady who provides super service and advice--just lovely. The chef is extraordinaire! I was in Paris for work for 6 weeks and stopped by this...place quite frequently...from the Pizza to the Calzone to the Lasagna all of the foot was very exceptional. You wanna talk desserts?!?! Tiramisu, chocolate mousse, but the MVP of their desserts is the creme brulee. Absolutely lovely spot.
As a new yorker I am always skeptical to eat pizza in the country, unless I am in italia. this little jewel of a pizzeria was however wonderful. the pizza is fresh and delicious. eating is authentic and it feels like they are falling from the streets of paris and into the streets of italia. I highly recommend it.
We were looking for Italian food, something other than pizza and found la scala. the portions were good, came from the kitchen hot and the taste was great. the service was also very good.
