La Marotte - Paris 9e Arrondissement

Small is beautiful! Only 4 tables on the sidewalk but very sympatic food and company (owners). Menus from 11 euros to 22 euros. Try their « Aperol spritz » and « Americani » cocktail... you’ll like that! Food is is fine.

Lovely quaint bar and restaurant. Nice welcoming server who appeared to be the owner too probably. Their food was excellent and I would recommend the lamb to all. It was cooked to perfection. Indeed for carpaccio, one needs to have a flair for unique sushi like meats. The accompanying tangy salad made it all the better. Too bad the chef wasn't offering escargot, but there was foire gras! Great prices and great food. A must try!

Lovely food and great service would recommend to anyone wanting some heart warming food in a traditional little restaurant

This restaurant was very convenient for our hotel so we decided to give it a go. We were the only tourists in there everyone else was French. It has seating for 25 or so and gives the impression of being family run. The entire menu was written on blackboards so obviously changed day to day. I had snails followed by veal both of which were superb. The service was great friendly and efficient but not over fussy. It was really good value at 50 Euros for both of us including drinks. Well worth a try!

La Marotte est un restaurant surprenant. Tout d'abord, le super accueil par Isabelle, une parisienne au large sourire sincère, ça fait du bien et ça vous met en appétit. La gastronomie est française, de très bonne qualité et son rapport qualité-prix imbattable, surtout à Paris. A chaque passage à la capitale, nous avons pris l'habitude de nous arrêter à la Marotte. Il y a comme ça des adresses qui vous collent à la peau.
