The service was quick and so we didn't have any time wasted. I'm sure their food items were good but we only had a coffee and a chai latte. They also have a cute coffee bar where you can add extras like cocoa powder to your drink. The chai and coffee we received were hot, which was rather nice. Unfortunately, it was so hot that you can feel it burning your hands even with a coffee sleeve on it. In this instance, they might want to lessen that a bit before they end up with a McD lawsuit. In addition, I ended up throwing my drink away after trying several sips but the blend of chai they had was too strong. It tasted like I was putting a spoonful of nutmeg in my mouth with every sip. The bitterness of that made the drink inconsumable.Overall, a cute place and probably good food but they may want to moderate their temps a bit better and work on their chai blend.
Cute, kitschy, and well caffeinated. Serves from its own roastery and a great selection of teas, beans, and bakery items. Also has a bookstore in the back!
I'm not sure I was really there. I parked right in front of the shop and walked right up to order. I must have been dreaming. It was wonderful! A double espresso! It doesn't get any better than that.
I'm moving far away from KC soon and there's only three things I'm going to miss: fiber internet, my NAPA discount, and this place.Best coffee shop out there.
We loved stopping by this local shop after walking through the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. The staff was friendly and the shop setting was in a cool historic building.
