Mojito's restaurant was on my mine, but Central Park rose in front of us. “Wanna try it?” Sure! Especially since I had a weak memory of reading only Peter D's criticism and how this was a favorite of his. It's a favorite of us now. The atmosphere is juicy and cozy, illuminated, clean lines and filming portraits decorate the wall. We ate with Marilyn, Elvis, Rhett Butler and Scarlet and the Council Pack. We were sooohungry it was hard to decide what to get, but we finally made our choice while we were on Focaccia. I liked to offer it with olive oil and what seemed balsamic soaked bits of sun-dried tomatoes? Delish. My wild mushroom penne with truffle oil was the bomb! Many mushrooms and perfectly groomed in garlic. The entrée was the Asian Baby Back Ribs. Sooo tender and garlic plums BBQ sauce was excellent. The Asian claw with sesame oil perfectly composed it. No, the AuGratin potatoes I thought it was just weird. Cheese and Asian cuisine just don't go along in my book, but my friend loved the potatoes and said cheese goes with ANYTHING. Whatever. The potatoes were good, but maybe a garlic of fried rice would have been a better pairing. We sat in silence, wept and tasted our lips. And all reasonable price. Aahh, full and happy. Dessert?? The dessert menu was small and simple. I opted for the Brioche Bread Pudding and Caramelized Apples per the waitress's suggestion. And it was unique. A refined bread pudding if you want. Delicate and light with a fine smooth texture and almond flavor. Perfectly satisfied. It's actually a nice meeting place. Cosy, excellent food and does not break your wallet.
Very nice atmosphere. go away from hone. nice friendly staff. excellent and inexpensive menu. the whole food is delicious. I don't think you're a favorite. try them all!
The ambiente is very picturesque. service was great. kale salat was delish. dressing was great. beware to cook for the hauch of minze in the dressing! the pork was very delicate and tasty. new york steak was decent. could be a bit more juicy. chocolate cake was sinful good. would always come. can not wait to try other elements on the menu.
Always great service, and eating is amazing! great menu, also.
It came to brunch the other day. The food was delicious, but maybe it was just the one waitress we had, but there was a handful of things bad. I had asked about soy milk I received, but it was thick, bubble, extremely sour and so much more than spoiled... My friend's order came out wrong, even though she explicitly told the waitress how she wanted to cook her food... And finally, the waitress spilled coffee on my friend and barely apologised when she was paying attention... The situation was brought to the attention of the manager, and he was friendly enough to take the drinks from our bill (yes, I was still charged for the extremely spoiled soy milk). But that was just an experience. The food was really good I recommend the Eggs Benedict and the French Toast, so I would like to come back to this restaurant.
