I feel so bad for the ONE server this place has. She's older and slower and has no one to help her. No other server, no buses, no other staff except a guy in the kitchen. I'm sure she's just as stressed that she's busy, but that's not an excuse for the customers to have such a bad experience. Many wait and ask when I'm waiting. Staff better. It's over without ordering anything because someone hit our car. But poor lady, someone finds help for her.
Forgot my add on egg and spicy order, oh and I ordered great. none of these things was included and I still paid for the additional costs. I also waited 15-20 minutes longer than promised. it was only 11 o'clock
Probably the worst sushi place in Pasadena. Rolls are tasteless, 4 times more rice than what you expect, feels like eating a rice sandwich doesn't matter. Wasabi is not fresh and the service is at best uneasy. We were hungry, but we could hardly eat pieces and leave the whole thing. Write this as a warning to all
The atmosphere of this restaurant makes me feel like I had come to a portal to the underworld or one of the dojos for ghost hunters in a Japanese manga. The dark restaurant was filled with some very different styles of customers. The only people working in the restaurant were a blonde waitress. The waitress talks like she's slowed down 1.5 times, and her friendly but uncaring approach to you is intriguing. She will take 20 minutes to prepare your water and tell you in a friendly manner that the food will take another 20 minutes but actually waits almost 40 minutes. The food wasn't good either. It made me think that the chef and the waiter didn't take their jobs seriously and it seemed like the restaurant wasn't open for the customers. Is this really just a simple restaurant? Standing on this expensive street, what role does it play?
