The customer service was lacking; it appeared that they were training a new employee, but the staff seemed agitated and their responses to me were curt. I felt uncomfortable, so I quickly finished my meal and left. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean, and it was convenient to pay with my phone.
While some items on the menu may be a bit pricey, everything I’ve tried has been incredibly delicious, which is what truly matters! I highly recommend their deep-fried Nutella sandwich; it's the perfect dessert for sharing.
While exploring new spots in Pasadena, I came across this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great, and the sandwiches were delicious. I ordered the Black Jack, while my girlfriend tried the Caprese, which seems to be a popular choice among patrons. Our total came to $31, including two drinks, which I thought was a fair price.
Best to stick with the grilled cheese style sandwiches. I had the Carolina and it came on a submarine style bread. Was really expecting everything was on sliced bread to maximize the grilled sides. The Carolina with pulled pork was ok. Overall it was a bit dry. Others in my party had the more traditional grilled cheese style sandwiches and those were good.
We rode out from Ventura County to try Melt It out. We were not disappointed. My fiance had the Swissted with it's menagerie of cheeses and I had the Cheesiest Mac Cheese with pulled pork added. Well worth the trip! Bonus that parking is in the rear with above and underground. We will definitely be back!
