The waitress acted as if taking our order was a daunting chore. Like the man, she had all the personality of a rock. I asked for rye toast and my wife asked for whole wheat. Of course she brought four pieces of whole wheat toast, so I had to have her get me my rye toast. She was not happy to have to correct the mistake. The food was good, but even the woman who I paid had no personality. I’m not sure what the problem is with these people, but we’ll never return. I don’t think I’m asking for much to expect the staff to at least be civil to their customers. Is that asking too much?
I've eaten here a bunch of times and the food is always good. They have set up an outside tent and tables during this covid period to help keep people as safe as possible. My only reservation is that all food was served in disposable containers which sort of diminishes the restaurant dining experience tho makes it easier for taking home leftovers... which there usually are. The wait staff are always nice and friendly and prices reasonable.
This family-owner diner has been so dependable. I've never had a bad meal here, whether I'm taking out or dining in. I look forward to their spinach pie for lunch or breakfast anytime (the sausage links are just like I like them, with great hot chocolate). Their fries are also AMAZING. Best diner around...
Large selection menu with lots of choices. Good breakfast, great sandwiches and good dinners. Always fresh and good portions.
Party of 6 Friday night. Server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Food was great. Deserts were outstanding.
