Ruthie's Farmhouse Pies - Pattonsburg

We travel almost 1-1/2 hours to come here. Yes it takes a little longer than other places to get your food, but everything is made from scratch. It is delicious! The Fried Chicken is a favorite. But the best part of this Restaurant is the incredible desserts. When you come in, your eyes immediately go to the numerous glass cases of 3 4 layer cakes, cobblers or pies, elairs cream puffs, ALL homemade every day, and they don't stay long enough to see the next day. You are smart to pick your dessert first, order it to go because you won't have room to eat it! This place is worth the effort and time to check it out!

Tacos were yummy, and the homemade pies were delightful! The crust on the peach pie was so tender and flaky!

Ruthie's tacos are addictive and now available Tuesday through Friday! She also makes her own salsa which is fantastic! I go between my favorite three deserts, peach crunch pie, strawberry rhubarb pie and french silk chocolate pie, all of them noteworthy. I wish I could eat a slice of each every night. This place is worth the drive. Friendly service, family style atmosphere and outstanding tacos and pies. This is my new favorite restaurant.

Ruthie's is the cozy small town Cafe everyone loves to discover. Famous for her tacos and verde and loved for her pies and down to earth personality.

Not a hello or service of any kind. We were seated and sat for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We would have appreciated a greeting or water, but we were invisible! Won’t be back, clearly!
