Sammy Barker's - Pensacola

Last night my husband and I came In for dinner to get out of the heavy rain. The ambiance here is great and the layout is good. The restaurant is clean and decorated well. I did not understand the pricing. $9.99 for a burger plus $5.99 for fries plus cost of drink. $6 for french fries is absurd. My burger was soggy from the grease and sauce it was just a saucy falling apart mess and I couldn’t finish it. My husbands Philly meat was dry and chewy and the Au Jus had no flavor. The seats in the restaurant are uncomfortable, very hard and hurt your butt and back after a few minutes. I think the owner did a good Job creating a rustic- industrial space and I think this place has a ton of potential but the food quality needs to match the prices being charged.

EASILY the best burgers in Florida! We tried this place on a whim and can't believe we've been missing out!! The burgers have such a good flavor and they melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is super friendly- which my mother and I really appreciated! Totally worth the price.

DECENT The food wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t amazing. The server was extremely nice and very attentive! The place itself was clean with a great atmosphere. Pricing was moderate. (They offer military discounts) Serving size was appropriate. Overall I won’t be giving it 5 stars because the food was just, “okay.” But because of the aesthetic and extremely pleasant service I can say it was definitely above average!

AWESOME FOOD. Tried this place the other day and it did NOT disappoint!! Our server was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and the burger was probably the best I have ever had. Definitely unique combinations but amazing flavor. The hand cut fries were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend for a good burger or specialty hot dog!

Awesome place for tasty burgers, melts, dogs, bratwurst, and dirty fries, waffle cut sweet potato or tots. So good your plate will look totally cleaned!
