I live near and visited my family and wanted sushi, some of them were fine, but some were anxious. I personally have fresh salmonnigiri and the salmon had a very bright pink color and just didn't look right. I tried it and it didn't taste like salmon, then I took another look and it just didn't look fresh and or good quality, it just tasted awful. I went to this restaurant for an earlier occasion and was fine, gave him another shot and unfortunately it will be my last.
Sent to Bonsai on Wednesday and had a fabulous experience. The waiters were exceptional and the food could not have been better. The sushi was great as the ducks. Good atmosphere and has indoor, outdoor or bar dining room. I will return.
I chose this restaurant to celebrate my graduation. They put the table with sober decoration. My guests and I were happy with the service and food. Some words in the menu were new to us as the food speciality is nikei (Japanese and Peruvian); but the servers were very friendly and gave detailed explanations and made exact suggestions. I had some ribs with a very tasty sauce. My guests had different dishes, including a vegetarian dish. Everything was DELIGHTFUL. We also ordered spring rolls. I suggest this restaurant. Prices are affordable and are cheaper than other chic restaurants in the city.
We went late to noon. Good selection of dishes. There are two Teppanyaki, but only for groups of four or more, after reservation.
I love sushi and I could eat it everyday. After trying other sushi restaurants in Pereira, I felt like I had died and gone to the moment right before the Big Bang, after my visit to Bonsai. They have some amazing, tasty sushi rolls. They have a spicy roll, I can't remember its name (no, not the regular spicy tuna), but oh my! Another good roll is the one with fried crab on top. My tastebuds are on fire as I type this! Now, if they could only get their mojitos right! Or bring sake or plumb wine I'd be a happy camper!
