The Rose And Crown At Thorney

I recently had one of the best roast dinners I've had in a long time at this restaurant! The staff were all incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome and at ease right away. I would recommend this place highly.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The four of us enjoyed a delicious meal and were greeted by extremely friendly staff. The kids' fish goujons were generously sized, much to their delight. Both my mother and I ordered the fish and were not disappointed. The meal was very tasty, portion size was generous, and it came with plenty of vegetables on the side. We definitely plan on returning when we are in the area again.

We have been to the Rose and Crown in Thorney three times recently. On each occasion we have had an excellent meal. Once for Sunday lunch. Extensive menu all freshly home cooked.Portion sizes are generous and a good choice of desserts. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the Guinness is excellent. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing. My companion and I had Sunday lunch here on 29/10/17, and it was the best Sunday meal I have ever had at a restaurant or pub. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the roast potatoes were delicious, and the lamb and gravy were excellent. The staff were very polite and accommodating, even though we had not made a reservation. I highly recommend eating here.
