Stop here an hour before the conclusion on the way home from the Kawarthas. It was not very busy, but the hostess greeted us cordially and let us sit with drinks in a short order. We ordered the Philly cheese steak and a burger. Wow. The best of both of us ever had. Tasteful, filling, sides of heavy and Au Jus with pumice were fantastic. Cheap local public house pints $5) and endless diet coke. It came fast and was honestly the best sandwich I had for a long time. The server Mellissa) was so nice and with us about the branches history when asked to work our travels, and their time there. I asked her to tell the cook how much we liked the food and she smiled so real. More places must be like that. I also noticed the classic menu that I grew up with every comfort food. This is the only one in Ontario, and I will make a point to return.

The prices are a little high, but the food is always good. Delicious, hot and fresh. Service is great. We've become regular and Aaron never lets us down. Master of soups and soul food. Try the meat! Garlic weavers are divine. The chicken fingers are made at home and the best in town!

Two words: chicken and waffles. The best North of New Orleans! You will not be disappointed!! My only negative is that the tables are far too close. I don't have to hear the whole conversation of our neighbors. Apart from that, the menu is varied and also delicious. The servers show really attentive support in their service. Will definitely be back!!

My husband and I were in tonight (Jan. 31 2019 . Had a lovely waitress (Emily? . Accommodated my high maintenance side and served me eggs Benny after 4 pm with scrambled eggs at my request. My husband had waffles and chicken with a side of the most delicious stuffed hash browns. Clean establishment, quiet and easily able to carry on a conversation, comfortable booths. Been several times and our go to place. Highly recommend.
