The food didn't meet my expectations; the meat was quite tough to chew. Additionally, the service was lacking.

**Location:** The restaurant is conveniently located and easily accessible by taxi or Uber. It has recently been remodeled and is quite nice inside—definitely a thumbs up! **Service:** Our waiter was attentive and responsive. After we placed our orders, the food arrived in no time. Again, a thumbs up! **Food:** The menu had a good selection. My colleague and I ordered a combination plate featuring local dishes: enchilada, bocelo, and cecina. Everything was quite tasty, except for the cecina, which was tough and difficult to chew. We were informed that Potosina cecina is made from horse meat. While the flavor was good, the texture was a bit of a letdown—a thumbs sideways here. **Value:** Overall, the dinner for four was very reasonably priced. Definitely a thumbs up! I will be returning to San Luis in about 6 to 8 weeks, and I plan to try Rincon Huasteco again, as I believe it could be a hidden gem.

For 122 MXD, I received two fried eggs, a bit of beans, three small tortillas, and some really good coffee. The nearby buffet at La Nueva Parroquia for 169 MXD would have been a much more satisfying meal.

Excelente servicio muy sabroso todo, las enchiladas huastecas, los tacos, quesadillas, frijoles charros y no se diga la salsa hechas en molcajete.
