Bassetts Ice Cream - Philadelphia

Absolutely incredible ice cream! I could say that there are at least fewer artificial ingredients, then you would usually get at an icebox. Very recommend the peach ice as it tastes fresh, and somewhat surprisingly not artificial at all.

We were in the april in ohilly for the neq volleyball qualification and went to the market for lunch. I saw bassett ice cream and went back to try. I have made almost the moose tracks, but asked the cashier and she recommended the peanut butter dream specialty shake. it was so delicious.

This incredible ice cream place is located in the leseterminal. I have been here many times and the staff is always friendly, helpful and fast! this earlier visit was during the flower show, which meant that the terminal with menschen packed. bassetts did not let her in phase. order, pay and my sweet tasty lasted under 5 minutes. the oreo is delicious, the chocolate piece is exactly what they expect and they have a great selection of cones and beats!

This is located inside of the Reading Terminal Market. There was not a line when we were there which is unusual according to other reviews. We really want to like the ice cream but it was ok and not a lot of flavor. We got toffee and banana and you can't taste either flavors. Pretty disappointed in that regards. The service, however, was great. Pleasant staff and prompt service.

So, we all know that ice cream is great. That has never been a question, right? But is Bassetts THE ice cream place? – Yes, yes it is! This is the perfect ending to any meal you choose to have at the Reading Terminal Market. Grab a cone of the creamiest ice cream or the fabulous sorbet. What a great treat! The staff was super helpful (we tried at least two different flavors based upon their recommendations) and very efficient. It was a great experience overall. Thank you, Bassetts!
