Cherry Street Tavern - Philadelphia

I lived across the street for several years. Everyone at this place is just good people. I?ve never once felt out of place and their roast beef and roast pork sandwiches are killer.

I came here for the first time tonight, the staff was incredibly kind and the food was incredible. The menu is super simple and written on a board. My friends and I came after sips so we just got food to help us sober up but we will be back for drinks again soon as well as to try even more of the menu. It?s a very old school place but quite possibly going to be come a longtime favorite.

This place has a reputation for a reason...a good reason. Fresh made hot roast beef sandwiches w/ sharp provolone, long hots horseradish ???? the service is as friendly as it gets. Felt like a regular by the time I left. Classic!

Been a fan for over ten years and always come back. Best bar service and a old school spot as Philly gets. Laid back attitude, best sandwiches and crispy chips! It?s all I want sometimes in a bar...certainly a place stuck in time and doing it just right.

Great experience! the roast beef sandwich was DELICIOUS i got it with the spicy peppers and it was amazing. service and atmosphere were great!Food: 5/5
