They greeted me as if I was being welcomed into their home, giving me a seat right away and very quickly getting my order taken care of. The staff was kind enough to even offer a complimentary appetizer of the Mixed Vegetable Pakuras, which were the perfect start to the meal. Their Butter Chicken and rice were delicious, and the Garlic Naan couldn't have been a better compliment. They let me know they're approaching about 1 year of being open, and I hope they're here to stay. Can't wait for the next time back!
Excellent Indian food tucked in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff. Some delicious atypical options you don't find at a lot of places.
We ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Moments later my phone rang- it was the restaurant calling to confirm our order and desired spice level! Very impressed. And when the food arrived it was delicious and perfectly spiced. We had lamb vindaloo and chole at level 4 of 5 and chicken tikka masala at 2-3. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem in south Philly. Warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Employees make you feel very welcome. Food is delicious and fresh--the flavor of the tikka masala is my favorite of all the Indian food I've tried in Philly. They do a lot of takeout, but very cozy for eat-in as well. They let us try the vegetable pakora, and we had the chicken tikka masala and chicken curry that came with rice, and tried some pappadum. They offered spicy level of 1-5, and 4 definitely had some heat. I preferred the tikka masala sauce to the curry sauce, but both were good. Parking can be tricky in the area, but well worth the trip. Highly recommend it!
Owner was very nice (was from Gurdaspur). When he came to know I was also from the same city, he offered me more dal and subzi as a nice gesture. I felt really good meeting him.
