Volver - Philadelphia

Been here a few times, one of my favorite's in Philadelphia for fine dining.

2.5 stars Great concepts at this restaurant but the overall execution is almost painful to sit through Literally and figuratively.

Came to Volver with my girlfriend for restaurant week and was overall pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience.

Our table was waiting when we got there, service was attentive and food was delicious...also, prices were reasonable

Truly the best Chinese food experience of my life! The shrimp toast was flavorful and the exterior flakey. The Shrimp Lo Mein and Spicy Shrimp with Peanuts were equally amazing dishes. Our waitress managed to make both dishes not hot, but kept all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and amazing. We will be back.
