Wah Gi Wah - Philadelphia

As a Pakistani, I have to say this is the best Pakistani food I've had in Philadelphia. My review will primarily focus on the food rather than the customer service, which could use some improvement. However, the food is definitely worth the wait. You can tell it's freshly made from scratch, and that's why I'm okay with the longer wait times. The staff has always been friendly and consistent; I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and have noticed improvements in the restaurant's appearance, while the food quality has remained excellent. The restrooms and some other facilities could use some attention, but overall, my experience has been positive beyond just the food. They don’t take reservations, but I don’t mind waiting for a table. In summary, the food is fantastic, so make sure to come hungry!

I absolutely love their food, and the hospitality was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! The Goat Karahi, Beef Curry, Grilled Shrimps, Chicken Tikka, Naan (bread), and Rice Pudding are all must-tries, so make sure to visit and enjoy this divine, high-quality food! It's absolutely delicious!

I recently discovered this halal restaurant with fantastic food that I really enjoyed. I recommend placing your order in advance for pickup. The interior has attractive Arabic decor, but the atmosphere was disappointing. There were flies inside, and there was an odd humid smell. The tables didn’t have napkins, which suggested a lack of cleanliness. I also noticed that the restroom's soap dispenser was nearly empty. I wouldn't suggest dining in; it's better to get takeout if you're a fan of Pakistani cuisine.

This restaurant offers authentic Punjabi cuisine, and all four of us had a great time there. Parking is free.
