Ambiance amazing, I had the Prosecco which was delicious and the hummus which was super tasty and flavorful! Great place for after work bites and a drink to decompress. Servers are always kind, knowledgeable and attentive! Highly recommend!

I visit Food on Wood frequently, usually once a week! Every single visit I'm met with the coziest vibe, great music, the best possible service! It's the Downtown Phoenix location where everybody actually knows your name. Whether you want to have an intimate date night or host a fun Happy Hour with work friends, or even attend one of their amazing wine tastings, you will not be disappointed! Now, let's talk FOOD WINE! I get to try a new wine new food item every single time! My personal favorites: Sunset Spritz with a delicious board of soooo many amazing meats cheeses (you HAVE to try Bresaola as one of your meats Pecorino as one of your cheeses). Are you on your way yet?? I know I'll be there again very soon!

Aqul is a great server, great Hummus and hot pita, great wine, great atmosphere across the street from the Phoenix Art Museum and Phoenix Theater.

Cozy little spot with great service drinks. Walked over after dinner we were super impressed. Pleasantly surprised to find cocktail offerings, and not just wine (although we do love the wine . Cocktail list was not super long, but the choices were great and we were very happy with the drinks we ordered. We're excited to have a nice little wine spot in the neighborhood, especially one that offers meat and cheeses to go with the great wine selection. Also nice to be able to grab bottles and charcuterie items to go. I suspect this is going to become a new fave spot for us:
