Our pie sat way too long waiting for pickup by the staff as it was all dried out when it arrived. Sean was great, but a truly disappointing pie that runs over $20 makes it a typically lackluster airport experience.
A nice little bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. The food looked good but I just got a drink. I wish I had asked how much it cost before ordering my drink. $23 for a Tito's and cranberry!! The drink wasn't big. And you cannot leave the bar area with the drink, per airport regulations.
They use an online system to order food and drinks. It's cool. Works just fine. Prices are as expected high due to the venue. (Airport bar) I had Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing draft beer nice flavor. Reminds me of a blue moon almost 12 for the 20oz Meatball Pizza provolone, fluffy parmesan and romano cheese blend, with parsley and tomato sauce Crust: House Crust So after finishing the entire pizza I was not impressed... it's not super busy. It's a Thursday at the airport I mean seats are empty in some places. The pizza was very crusty the meat was over cooked or it all burned when it went into the oven. Worse the flour that they use presumably to help the pie slide around was caked on so much I felt I was just eating powder. Also mixed in that powder was a cinnamon flavor.... Reminds me of dominos pizza that has a touch of sweetness because they cook the desserts in the same area. Iwas tempted to order another pizza but decided to try something else on the menu. So I ordered a second round another beer and an appetizer Kilt Lifter draft beer Tempe, AZ 6% ABV 21 IBU Pour: 20 oz Meatballs three house-made meatballs, with tomato sauce, Parmesan and bread Round two was much much better. The meatballs were to die for. Soft and rich in flavor with just a tick of spice at the end. It came with 2 slices of bread so as an appetizer that's a lot of food. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 for this reason... most people won't have two orders to get it right the second time. At least next time I know I will try a traditional cheese pizza and the meatballs Yes I'll be back
Layover in Phoenix, so stomped by for a quick bite. A bit unorganized with staff and customers. Lots of clutter, and folks bumping into each other. The two of us ordered: -chopped salad $14.79 -cheese burger $17.29 -fries surcharge $2.75 It seemed like our burger was forgotten, since we were waiting extra long, and even our server was wondering where it was, so he had to check, then after some more time, the food came out. Table next to us also got a fully burnt pizza (which they replaced), but just super inconsistent and unorganized throughout. Food itself was good and on-par for other airport food.
We had a pretty good experience here recently while on a layover heading back home after a trip from Mexico. The restaurant was busy but our server remained friendly and attentive. We had the signature pizza and chicken tenders with fries. It really hit the spot and was an quick and easy meal to grab during our layover!
