La Madeleine - Phoenix

I really enjoy this restaurant and typically have a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately, today’s meal was disappointing. The croissants were stale, and the omelette was overcooked. Usually, the food here is superb!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is consistently more delicious than anywhere else I've been. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Whenever I go, I have the pleasure of seeing Tyra, who is the kindest and sweetest person I've ever met. She always recommends the tastiest pastries. Thank you, Al Madeleine, for having such an incredible team, especially Tyra—she's truly a gem and a major reason I keep returning to this location.

Last summer, while I was on jury duty, this became my go-to spot for lunch in downtown! Their grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely amazing—always cooked to perfection, never greasy or dry, no matter how many times I ordered it. I also really enjoyed their creamy mushroom soup! While parking can be a bit of a challenge, I'm definitely tempted to return because of the wonderful memories I have of this place. One employee, in particular, always greeted me with a warm smile; I just wish I could remember his name! When you place your order at the register, they either bring your food to the counter or to your table if you prefer.

La Madeleine is no longer serving regular dine-in meals and is currently only providing catering services.

Unfortunately, a significant amount of my French onion soup leaked into the bag, which was disappointing since I truly enjoy it.
