Food was good but service was the quality I had been used to

This wasn't my first visit to a Pappadeuax but my first time to this particular one and it was probably my favorite experience yet. We came on Mother's Day busy as can be but since we made reservations we got seated almost immediately. I really wish I could remember the name of our server but he was awesome, very attentive to all our needs and always kept our drinks full! Honestly though, the star of the show was Jose he ordered oysters and he brought them out we received oysters with a huge side of charisma, he wished us a happy mother's day and joked around about having oyster shooters for dessert. Little did we know, it wasn't a joke after all. While we were waiting on our check, he returned with complimentary oyster shooters and even more smiles and charisma. He made our day and we will definitely be returning for Father's Day and more Jose tidbits!

Grouper was excellent and the grits with corn and sausage was a great complement! Salad was excellent as well. It is expensive but is worth it. Service was great as well!

I truly enjoy going here. We usually get a great waitress/waiter. This last time we were not so lucky. I wish she was a little more attentive. One thing I will say is the food is always amazing!! We made reservations and we were seated on time. Hostess was friendly! Environment was perfect! We will go back again!

The menu has shrunk. They no longer serve crab legs. The lobster tank was empty. I was sad to see that they seem to be going in the wrong direction businesswise
