I decided to get some food in my belly and proceeded to take a self guided tour of Terminal 4. My stomach suggested Wildflower and a 1/2 sandwich and soup sounded delightful. With 4 options of soups I was indecisive but Samantha (Sammii) gave me a few samples and suggestions along with a smile. My mood was instantly altered as I sat there eating my food, watching the world walk by, including Police escorting a woman in handcuffs and CNN engrossed in Putin and Trump's love affair. Despite all the nonsense around me, Sammii returned to offer a glass of water and a smile. Reminding me how wonderful the world is and that the kids are alright.
Super fast service at counter with three cashiers and lots of healthy options. Stopped for a quick sit down breakfast and received a good quality hot sandwich (egg whites, feta and tomato) and hot salted caramel macchiato which is only .30 cents more for the larger size. Daughter got blended mango passion fruit smoothie also just cents more for large. $27 for two drinks and two breakfast sandwiches.
I have been on what it felt like a never-ending search for a good, healthy and tasty food at airports. When I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona, I found this spot, a bit far from my gate, but I was willing to walk 15 -20 min inside the terminal for a good food. Seems like a popular spot at this airport, it had a long line, but the line moved quickly with efficient staffs. They had some seating, but it was mostly taken. Most of the people were ordering salad or sandwiches, and they were pre-made and ready to go in the window showcase. Their staff make them in the kitchen right in the back, so they are pretty darn fresh! It helped with the purchasing process, and to move the line along. Since I was going to get on a flight home, and I was not getting any food on the plane, I decided to get a scone and a salad. I chose Chocolate Chip Scone which was bigger than I expected. It was very satisfying and delicious! Then I found a nice surprise in a bag, my salad came with a complimentary bread! I could tell it was not some cheap piece of bread, but high quality one. How awesome! For salad, I chose Wildflower Chopped Salad, and it was a really nice, big salad! It was super fresh and put together beautifully. The quality was very noticeably high. Lots of texture, flavor and ingredients mixed together in a perfect harmony and became one big delicious family! An awesome salad!!! I also couldn?t help myself from getting one of their popular cookies? Chocolate Chip Hazelnut Cookie with Sea Salt which was huge, bigger than my hand. It was soft, moist, again with all the high quality ingredients. Yum!!! Kudos to wildflowers! Now I know it is possible to eat well at an airport! Everything I had was just amazingly delicious, high quality, healthy? All we need now is to have Wildflower Bread Company at each and every airports!
Honestly the friendliest staff I have ever met anywhere! One of the women working here, possibly the manager, was floating around checking on the customers sitting in the dining area. I had previously only bought a coffee for a meeting I had at the airport. She came up to me and asked me if I?d like a refill!! How nice! I took her up on it and we started chatting. One thing led to another and she made a custom salad for me! It was amazing! Pretty sure it was a mix between the spicy super greens and the vegetable quinoa. It was bomb! This restaurant is head and shoulders above rest. Delicious, healthy, and amazing staff. This meal, and the employee here who helped me, really made my day.
Eating was just okay and although I had to wait a very long time for eating the dame on the counter-s crazy ea big difference. I wouldn't eat here anymore, but she's the reason I give this place a 4 star. I would recommend eating somewhere else, because it is not good and expensive.
