Burning Brick Tavern - Pickens

Great small town bar. Friendly staff, good amount of seating in bar area, plus upstairs. Pool tables, jukebox music. Small bar, beer a few crafts), wine, cocktails. Pretty nice sized food menu. Burger and fries fresh, quality cooked perfect. Will definitely go back for some more small town bar food and vibes

Last night we went into this establishment for something new. We were served by Kaitlyn who did a wonderful job detailing the choices for us and took the time to tell us what the local favs were. The food came out hot and it was delicious. We were both very happy with our food choices and our service. We would definitely come back in again. The younger crowd that occupied the pool tables and bar area seemed to be having a great time, so it looks like this place is doing right by the patrons. See ya soon! My family and I visited Burning Brick Tavern last night around 7:30 PM, consisting of two adults and four kids. We started with appetizers—fried pickle chips and fried green tomatoes—but unfortunately, it took 45 minutes for them to arrive. By 8:30 PM, my two youngest children were very hungry and tired, yet our main food still hadn't come out. My husband asked the waitress to have our meals boxed to go. After another 20 minutes, our food finally arrived. We had ordered 16 wings, a French dip, a BLT, and a plain burger, resulting in a total wait time of 1.5 hours, which seemed outrageous given that the restaurant was not busy at all. While the food itself was decent and our waitress was very polite, we won't be returning to this restaurant. It’s not like we ordered a five-course meal for 20 people!

We had a fantastic time at dinner and drinks tonight! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. The burgers and club sandwich were definitely the highlights! Plus, there's a great bucket beer special on Saturdays! If you haven't been yet, be sure to check it out!

Great food and atmosphere. Upbeat vibe but not loud and boisterous. Was able to enjoy meal and conversation. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is the fact that the bartender was having to do double duty and wait on our table for meal service also. I am sure that they are like everyone else and have a shortage of employees. Otherwise great experience and will return.
