We are sorry to say that each dish was far below the minimum quality standard you should expect from a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. Cooking oil fumes from the kitchen smelled bad, the food was very poor, and despite our remarks, the owner charged the full price, stating that everybody has a different taste .... What a disappointment!
Ate super delicious, especially the spicy soup in advance is recommended. the cook is a friendly guy who always has a chat with you at the table.
Based on all the positive reviews on the Internet, we chose Le Saigon in order to get something else than French food for a change. And as it turned out, the reports had been quite accurate. The chef was just as friendly as people had said, the food ample, fresh and of a very fair quality considering the moderate prices. One of my friends had duck, which she quite liked, some of us had prawns with vegetables which were good (if not exactly fancy), and as a starter, another one of my friends tried the hot beef dish which she said was really excellent. So, all in all, this is definitely a recommendable place. Should we get the craving for something else than local or pizza again soon, we might well end up there once more while we are still in the neighbourhood. Plus (and just for the sake of completeness), unlike most of the French bars, this place is actually spotlessly clean and the bathrooms a real pleasure to visit.
I strongly advise to stop for lunch or dinner in the saaigon: the reception is exceptional, the dishes offered excellent. a good quality price ratio. a redo
Friendly and very good! curry shrimps are excellent and Cantonese rice also. Bravo and thank you for the good time.
