We are new in the area and this place was a hidden jewel when we moved here; HOWEVER, we were not for a year because it started to be too much work. They're always out of everything. They are known for the Prime Rib, get good luck. Sold out, Lets try the Hawaiian sugar land rib eye, they come back to the table sold out. Now you think that's at 4:00 (that's when you can get a baked potato) salmon, get it, but 10 later the table sold out next to us. If the food planning / shopping has not become better in a year, it will never be. Word of mouth can be the best advertising, but in this case it is probably the worst. Left my grandbabies electronic toy on the table in his box, I guess they just tortured it, after talking with 2 employees they were tied up that I would even think they would hold to meet. This is a small town. So disappointed! Put a sign on the window that you have on Sunday so that people can make a decision before looking for a menu.
The Creamery serves one of the best steaks I had in the KC Metro, and delicious ice cream for dessert. From the beginning to the end, our dinner was excellent. Excellent side salads to start with amazing house made Ranch Dressing. The Calamari Appetizer was a hit. My Ribeye Steak was cooked for perfection and tasted great. A real can must not treat a small town. We'll be back soon.
The food was good. Burnt ends, Pommes, Coleslaw. Pig sandwich, pumice, beans. The service was a little slow, but not terrible. But here is a hint: not everyone should try to do commands instead of writing them. My extra beans were plated with my husband's order. They were in a crock, so easy to change. Coleslaw wasn't on the plate and we had to ask. It was brought immediately and was delicious. An order for the group behind us was wrong. A remarkable, expensive court was replaced by something else because the server thought they were the same (in reality very different and at very different price points). We discovered that they were from several items and that a meat cut could not be served because it was bad (why would you say that?) We didn't try the ice, but they were from some waffles. They were pretty busy so they don't miss me not returning. We traveled 15 miles to try a local place with good reviews, but can find something comparable or better without the ride.
First time ever here. My wife's aunt and uncle live minutes away and recommend this place to grab some tasty food. Our hostess was a gem. Very courteous and attentive. Explained the sauces they offer. Particularly for the BBQ. Which led me to asking, well almost begging, to see their bbq set-up. Which she graciously did. Impressive for what is produced on what they have. The gentleman running the grills/smokers was indeed devoted to his craft. It showed in the enthusiasm with the several minutes I had to visit with him. I'm from SW MO. I'd love it if this place was in my neck of the woods instead almost 3 hours north of me. My wife and I will be back when I'm back visiting my aunt and uncle. The food was ridiculously ridiculous. My burnt ends were excellent. Sadly no pics of that. The spicy shrimp was so savory. Listed are a few of the pictures I took.Verdict; a damn good place to eat at very reasonable prices. Thank you for excellent service and out-of-bounds food!
