I checked Yelp for ratings on good pizza/sub places and this time it didn't steer us wrong like it did in Harrisburg, PA. The Meatball Grinder (I'm from CT we call it grinders not subs lol) was so satisfying! Bread was light and crisp, meatballs were huge, tangy sauce, and lots of cheese melted over top. Yum! From another review, we also decided to get a small Famous Grandma Pie. It's like their take on a margarita pie. Instead of the sauce spread onto the dough, a layer of cheese is baked on first, and then they top it w/ a dollop of that delicious tangy sauce, fresh slices of mozz cheese, freshly basil, and it goes into the oven again to melt the mozz. Reminds me of dunking cheesy bread into sauce, it's just comfort!
Just got a 14 and 7 chicken Parmesan Sandwich sauce was great bread was ok but definitely could have used 2 times the amount of chicken not worth the $22.00 we just paid
Great family-friendly Pizzeria Family-owned very polite very reasonable Great local treasure
Nice local pizzeria late night sub shop. I ordered an eggplant parm hero. VERY generous on their eggplant it tasted very good. People there are very friendly. My new go to place now for heroes. Haven't tried the pizza yet but if it's the same sauce, I'm sure it'll be good. I'll update when I try the pizza
This place is great! You get really great prices and you can't beat the food. The service is super friendly and I have never had a bad experience here. It's a lot better than a lot of the other places in the area; they are friendlier, better food, good prices, and overall a better experience. If you're in the area stop by you won't regret it!
